Virus programming is some kind of dilemma, in one side, it can be used as a tool to hurt many peoples, but in one side, it’s an interesting technical art and engineering things.

The best thing to practice is by looking at the real “open source” virus. You could find the source code from many viruses from virus code database’s website. Check it out.

Super Hidden or sometimes called System Hidden is a file attribute for file or folders. Usually when people hide folders or files, they still can see it by changing the option on Folder Options. But using super hidden, the files and folders are still invisible although the user enable the “view hidden” options.Using supper hidden is a common method on creating a computer virus nowadays.

Here are the steps/algorithm to make supper hidden on your computer:

1. Open your Registry Editor, Click Start > Run, then run regedit.
2. OpenHKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
3. Change the value of Hidden string into 1.
4. Change the value of ShowSuperHidden string into 1.
5. Change the value of SuperHidden string into 1.

Exit from regedit and then restart your computer. If you want to make computer virus, then translate those algorithms using your favorite programming language

Linux server performing as a samba server for Windows OS clients can be a safe heaven for viruses and other malwares. To overcome this problem, network admin could install anti virus for Linux. The one i admire most is AVG anti virus for Linux that you could download from http://free.grisoft.com
To install it on Ubuntu, you could download the Debian version (.deb). To install .deb installer, you could execute:

sudo dpkg -i avg_version.deb

After that, register your AVG by executing the shell script provided on the end of installation phase. Enter your name and your company name. To activate AVG Anti Virus for Linux, you could click Applications > Accessories > AVG for Linux.

Irritated by pop ups on Notification area of your Windows Desktop that coming from softwares you have uninstalled? (usually antivirus or antimalware sofwares). You have tried tirelessly but nothing seems to change?

Those pop ups are adwares, if you clicked at the pop ups, they will bring you to certain websites in a hope that you will buying their sux products. How could you buy their product if they force you to visit their website. I think they have to learn about Customer Relationship Management?

1. Close all browsers opened on your Windows.
2. Stop these processes using Task Manager (depends on adwares installed on your system:
