The Alpha 1 of Ubuntu 8.10 is already released

Just reading from one of linux website, i heard that ubuntu 8.10 Alpha 1 is already released. You may find the screenshots of this alpha version of ubuntu from here. Amongst the features is Firefox 3, GNOME 2.23.4, a new NewHuman theme, GIMP 2.4.6 and OpenOffice.org 2.4.1.
