How to share files or folders on Windows Vista

Below are steps you can do to share files/folders on Windows Vista:

  1. Open Windows Explorer and choose folder’s location which contain files you want to share.
  2. Right click on the folder and choose Share menu.
  3. Add users list that will be permitted to share the file then hit Share button.
  4. Sharing Items window will emerge, it means the folder is already shared.
  5. After the folder being shared, Your folder is shared window will emerge.
  6. Hit the Done button to close the window.
  7. A shared folder will have an icon below the folder’s icon.
